my younger brother, Azharul Fitri
Today, my younger brother celebrates his 21st birthday. It seems like yesterday I first saw him in the nursery of Ipoh Specialist Centre.. a fair skinned baby (a rareity in my family..hehe) with a tuft of thick hair on his head… sleeping peacefully in the hospital cot, all bundled up in baby blue blanket. My younger brother, Azharul Fitri.. fondly known as Teh in our family was born on 3rd of Syawal that year. His arrival to our family was like a breath of fresh air, truly special in his own way.
I was so excited when the day come for baby Teh to come home with us… we have a good 10 years between us, and I was very happy to play big sister. He has the cutest face, a mellow personality and seems to be a fuss-free baby… but definitely not without his own mischief such as the infamous ear rip and ankle crack, not to forget the amount of my personal belongings that he explored when he was a toddler and I was turning into a hormonal teenager. An exploring toddler with a privacy-seeking-looking-for-an-identity teenager. Not a very pretty scene, huh? 
Over the years, we have had our fair share of arguments, disagreement and bad times. Most importantly we have grown to love one another and share special moments that will bind us for a lifetime.
Happy Birthday Azharul Fitri! May your 21st year brings you a lot of happiness, success and glory. I wish you best of luck in whatever you do, and hope you know that no matter how far we are I will always be there for you. Think happy thoughts, my dear baby brother… take care!
