My darling son, my precious little munchkin Afwan Daniel turns 1 today. We had a little ceremony of blowing candle and cutting the cake with Atok, Maktok & Pak Teh watching live via Skype video call. We bought him presents, and despite DH reasonings, I insisted that we wrapped them even though Daniel had chosen the presents himself… hehe. The cake and candle did not really interest him, but the presents were a hit.

The present DH bought for Daniel is the absolute winner for the day… just look how excited Daniel is unwrapping the present… kinda funny, considering he was the one who picked it out 3 days before 
- wow! Daddy bought me a car!
- I wonder if the car comes with sport rims..hmm?
- you sure you don’t leave ANYTHING in the box, Daddy?
- hmm.. where did I see this red car before??
- oh yeah.. this feels just right.. I got my own ride now..

Although it was just a small celebration, but it was just right for us. Daniel had received many wishes from my friends and family on FB as well.. my sincere thanks for all of the beautiful wishes. We plan to have a proper party for Daniel when my brother, sister, MIL, SIL and AIL visits in June. There will be baloons, party food, a bigger cake, more presents and corny birthday hats for sure… and the more the merrier, that is all that matters.
Happy birthday Afwan Daniel. Semoga jadi anak yang soleh, sayangkan keluarga dan berjaya di dunia & akhirat. You are my pride and joy, and I thank God for everyday I am blessed with your smile. Have a happy life my darling… Mummy and Daddy loves you very much.
